Nobel Principles for Which They
Fought and Died
Albuquerque Gold Star Mothers meet at least six times a year, in the Albuquerque area. There are members of this chapter around the state of New Mexico.
Our mission is to support newly bereaved families by attending funerals around the state and remaining in contact with the families. We support and work with the Veterans and VA Hospital. We work closely with Blue Star Mothers.
Annual Dues: $35 - $30 of which is passed on to the National organization
If you have lost your child in the service of our country and would like the community of others in your situation, we invite you to join us. No one knows how you feel like another mother who has lost a child.

A Gold Star Mother is a mother whose child has served and died in the line of duty in the Armed Forces of the United States of America or its Allies; or those who have died as a result of injuries sustained in such service.
American Gold Star Mothers, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We are a Veterans Service Organization, established in 1928 and chartered by the United States Congress in 1984. American Gold Star Mothers continue to honor our sons and daughters through service -- service to veterans and patriotic events. Members work closely with all Veteran's organizations, giving many hours of volunteer work and personal service inVeteran's Hospitals and in the community where they live.
